Dr Alessia Bruno is a Clinical Psychologist, EMDR Europe Consultant, Trainer and Performance Coach. She was awarded two important International scholarships (Bando Leonardo and Bando Overseas) by the University of Bologna that allowed her to be trained in prestigious universities in North America and in the UK. Following her undergraduate degree, she competed against hundreds of applicants and was accepted by the Clinical Psychology Doctorate programme in Edinburgh University (UK). The completion of 5 years of extensive post-graduate training allowed her to gain expertise in the fields of Clinical and Sport Psychology and Performance Psychology.
Further to her professional training, she has acquired other international accreditations such as the title of EMDR Europe Consultant and certification in leading edge approaches to enhance performance such as Brainspotting, Performing Edge Coaching, Mindfulness, Neurolinguistic Programming.
She lectures at National Sport congresses and holds courses accredited by the Ministry of Health. She constantly attends European and World Congresses in order to keep up-to-date with the latest developments and research in the field of Performance. This continuous professional education allows Dr Alessia Bruno to coach her clients with the best techniques available.

Dr Alessia Bruno also collaborates abroad as well as in Italy with sports physician, chiropractors, coaches and nutritionists. She is a member of the British Psychological Society,(BPS), the American Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), the International Society for Sport Psychology (ISSP), UK and Ireland EMDR Association and EMDR Italia. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK No. PYL24581 and with the Psychology Board of Italy, Ordine degli Psicologi No. 6097.

Sports and creative culture have always been part of Dr Alessia Bruno’s life. Since she was a child she played volleyball competitively in a team and did martial arts (Kung Fu Lau Gar). She enjoys salsa dancing and a running, as well as playing the violin, guitar and the Celtic Bodhràn. She is a member of the Italian Red Cross and Lions Club International and carries out humanitarian interventions.
